My friend Melanie in Catskill sent me these photos. It's 80 here today, and probably like, 8 there. Man, Arizona has the most boring weather and climate.

It looks just like Narnia ♥!
In other news, I guess a somebody's water pipes broke, so they had to shut our water off and it sounds like they're digging up the street in front of my house. Of course right after the guy told us that we had 15 minutes of water left, I got really thirsty and I had to poo.
+ king crab + Munich + Joey + pretending it's cold outside + being clean + the scarf I'm working on + Hai, wakarimashita - tummy aches - my broken PS2 controller - not having somebody here to play videogames for me so I can listen while I do other stuff - same thing, except they're reading outloud to me instead of playing videogames
+ invincibility - cold feet (as in my feet are actually cold.)

Why is a 201 course more challenging than its 202 counterpart? What posessed me to work backwards?
I don't have all the answers, but I have a feeling someone does.

When I had my figure study portfolio review the other day, Amy told the class that on tuesday (today), our final altered book assignment was due as well as some extra drawings of our choice with our portflolio. I didn't know how many extra drawings she wanted for the portfolio, so I checked my UA webmail this just now with hopes that she sent something out to the class.
Going off on a tangent here: For the altered book assignment, which would be considered our final, we were to take a book and change it by drawing in it, taking it apart, painting on it, etc. Anyway, the book had to have a theme that kind of pretains to how you feel about the book. When we had class last thursday I had no pages in my book, and I needed 21. I hadn't come up with a theme yet, and then I finally decided that in my old copy of Catcher in the Rye (because I hate that book with an unfathomable passion), I would draw naked girls doing cute things with cute creatures, and then write a dirty secret on each page with them. I worked all weekend on it, and I'm missing one page, which is nice, you know. That means I'm almost done, and I have to blitz another one this morning. Then I get this email:
Hi all--
For the last day of class, bring all the drawings from the final critique, plus 10 of your choice. They can be long drawings, gestures, exercises, etc.
*Important: bring your altered books tomorrow, but there will be an extension through Friday at 10 AM. At that time I'll come through and check my mailbox for any remaining books. Please also feel free to turn your book in tomorrow if it's complete.*
If you read this and see someone from our class, please pass the word along about the 10 extra drawings and the book extension.
Thanks and see you soon! Any questions, you know what to do... Amy
well, fuck.
I finished my intaglio final yesterday. Finishing book and crap this morning. Then I have my art history final next week and I am D O N E... And that's effing awesome.

My mom ordered me something for christmas, and they sent the "order shipped" email to my UA email account. Why? How did that happen? That kind of ruins the suprise, doesn't it?
